DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENT:
To get married in the Cook Islands, there is a three working day requirement from the day of license application to the day of your wedding day. This requirement can be waived by the Registrar if you have a good reason and with a written request. The cost of this waiver is NZD$55.00 and can be organised through your wedding planner.
- Birth Certificates or certified copies of them.
- Passports
- Divorce papers if previously married, or death certificate of previous spouse, these must be translated into English.
Most countries require a Wedding Certificate and the Apostil Seal, so that your wedding is legal in your home country. The Crown Beach wedding planner can organise those documents for you for an additional $50.00.
WEDDING CANCELLATIONS:
Because of the consideration preparations for wedding packages and their associated costs, cancellation fees will apply for cancellations and will be charged as follows:
- Cancellation over 30days before arrival - No charge
- Cancellation 16 to 30 days before arrival - 10% of package
- Cancellation 7 to 15 days before arrival - 20% of package
- Cancellation 3 to 5 days before arrival - 25% of package
- No Show to 2 days before arrival - 100% charge of package
