The following documents are required: Birth certificates in English, Valid Passports, Decree absolut (if previously divorced), or death certificate of deceased former spouse (if widowed).
To get married in the Cook Islands, there is a three day requirement from the day of licence application to the day of your wedding. This requirement can be waived by the Registrar if there is a good reason. The cost of this waiver is $55.00 and the paperwork can be organized through your wedding planner.
- Birth certificates or certified copies of them.
- Valid Passports.
- Divorce papers (Decree Absolut) if previously married, or death certificate of previous spouse, these must be translated into English.
- Apostle Seal if required is an Extra $55.
